Technical translations are translations related with engineering, science, medicine, chemistry, computer science, and other disciplines that require extensive, complex, and subject-specific vocabulary.

We often work with studies, reports, user manuals, and product descriptions that require in-depth knowledge of a particular subject by the translator so that the correct terminology is used for each document.

The translator must keep abreast of the scientific research in his or her area of expertise and have sufficient knowledge to understand and express highly complex texts.

At Aguaclara Translations, we use glossaries and translation memories for these translations. We recently translated the book “GUÍA DE SUPERVIVENCIA EN UCI” (“ICU SURVIVAL GUIDE”) by Carlos Solís and published by the Aguaclara Publishing House into French, English, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
